Michael Henry is a Jacksonville, Florida native. After receiving technical training in Industrial Electronics, Michael went on to work for Florida Sound Engineering Company in 1986, where he repaired electronic equipment. Later, at the same company, Michael became the service manager directing the service fleet. Before branching into the computer training industry, he was promoted to General Manager in 1994. Michael oversaw the daily operations and maintained interaction with over thirty employees. During his ten year tenure with Florida Sound, he had many opportunities to work with various software packages and helped train fellow employees in their use.
 Michael decided a change from the constant
stress filled environment of management was needed and in 1996 began contract training for Advanced Computer Training Company in Jacksonville. "I have been enjoying it ever since," says Michael, "It is the best secular decision I have ever made!" In 2000, he began helping his students with web sites and after much demand he decided to create his own web site and combine his skills of training and his love of design.
Thus the birth of MHTRAIN.COM. "Many people ask me: 'why mhtrain?' and I have to explain that is has nothing to do with the choo choo, but rather the combining of my initials and what I enjoy the most, training. And yes I did try to get mikehenry.com and even michaelhenry.com, but the first was taken by Tarzan and the other by an architect in California. Go figure dude..." |
